Ashley & Mike met through working for the University of Georgia, and they tied the knot this summer at the UGA Chapel. Their wedding was full of personal touches, from their shared love of Georgia sports to Disney (where they honeymooned after the wedding!). We made sure to take pictures at the fountain on Herty Field where they had their first kiss and also where Mike proposed to Ashley on New Year’s Day 2015. The temperature reached 100 degrees during the peak of the day, but their wedding party was a HOOT and still had a ton of fun posing for pictures. I couldn’t get over how cute the flower girl and ring bearer (Mike’s son) were! And my favorite part of the day had to be when Mike’s groomsmen paid tribute to his referee title by throwing a penalty flag after Ashley & Mike’s first kiss at the altar. The bride and groom were completely surprised, and after the call of “Roughing the Kisser,” they shared a re-kiss. :) The groom’s cake at the reception was also that of a football official. All in all, the day was a beautiful testimony of their love for each other as well as for their family & friends. I feel blessed to have been able to capture this joyous occasion, and the AWESOME team of vendors deserves credit:
