As you all know, I’ve been working on opening a new studio in Athens that will double as a shared space for creatives. It’s named The Diana House, and I want it to be a place for people to dream, create, and collaborate together. Needless to say, this styled shoot set my heart on fire!!!
“Styled shoots” are SO fun, because they’re a chance for vendors to collaborate and create together, try out new ideas, and work outside of the strict timeline of a wedding day. I was over the moon excited when my friend Gabbie contacted me about a styled shoot she was putting together and asked if she could use The Diana House as her venue. I not only LOVED her vision for the shoot and the vendors that she was bringing in, but I loved the opportunity to finally see some wedding images taken at The Diana House.
Gabbie is a talented photographer herself, and now I’ve seen that she’s a master planner too! Her vision for the shoot was to showcase certain vendors, such as the Persian rugs by Detroit Rug Restoration and the exquisite macrame pieces by Flourish Fibers in a bohemian-themed intimate wedding shoot. And the BEST part — she let me photograph alongside her during the day! It was actually my first real time photographing at The Diana House (I’ve been too busy trying to get the place up and running!), and it was so fun playing with the light in the space.
I was obsessed with every detail of this shoot and how perfectly everything came together. Thank you to all of the amazing vendors who contributed to Gabbie’s vision!!
