Ashley & Cameron are high school sweethearts who are getting married next July at 9 Oaks Farm on what will be their 6 year anniversary of dating. Cameron is in the Marine Corps and doesn’t get to visit home often, so I was thrilled to find out he was making a quick visit over Thanksgiving… We were able to fit in their engagement session during his visit, and the fall colors were right at their peak! Ashley & Cameron are so laid back and trusting that they let me choose the location of their session (eek!). I’ve always wanted to photograph at a Christmas tree farm, and this turned out to be the perfect opportunity! The weather was perfect, the people at Jack’s Creek Farms were super welcoming, and Ashley & Cameron were a JOY to have in front of my camera. Ashley warned me at the beginning of the shoot that they might be “too candid,” and I assured her there is no such thing. Capturing their genuine smiles, laughs, & cuddles made our hour together fly by. I can’t wait to photograph them again next July!
