Ashley & Shawn began dating when they were just 15 years old. They’re high school sweethearts who have moved across the country together and now plan on spending forever together. Shawn found me online and reached out about me capturing the proposal, and we landed on the State Botanical Garden of Georgia, a place he and Ashley had been meaning to check out. Since they had never been there before and it was a bit of a drive, I sent Shawn a map and videos of a spot that I thought would be a solid plan. And he followed my instructions and pulled it off splendidly. Ashley did NOT see it coming… so much so that she actually thought he was joking at first. It was a precious moment and I’m so grateful I was there to capture it. I then acted as their personal tour guide as I showed them around some of my favorite parts of the gardens while we took celebratory photos. Congrats, Ashley & Shawn!
