Dexter & Avery met through mutual friends at a Braves game… where they also got engaged years later! They’re getting married in Madison, GA next May, and I am even more excited to photograph their wedding after spending an evening with them recently. They are the definition of happy together. I adored their huge smiles and willingness to explore new locations with me & dance even when there isn’t music playing. We took their engagement photos in Greensboro, where Avery is from, and a huge bucket list location of mine. Every time I have driven through the town over the years, I’ve thought “this is so cute! I need to do a session here one day!” And it did not disappoint. The downtown area has a million fantastic backdrops for photos. We ended at Oconee Brewing Co., a staple of the town. They also brought their 6 month old pup, Lady, who is a mix between an Australian Shepherd and a Great Pyrenees… and a total “foster fail.” They warned me that she may be all over the place (as are most 6 month old puppies), but she actually made my job way too easy!
