Even though I met Cameron & JD for the first time at their engagement session, the session felt like hanging out with close friends. We explored, talked, laughed, and bonded over our shared interests — beer, dogs, plants, you name it. They showed me around their stomping grounds in Atlanta… where they live, where they enjoy going on walks/runs near the Beltline, where they had their first date at Superica, and where JD proposed in Springvale Park. I got to FINALLY walk through the Krog Street Tunnel, which has been on my bucket list for some time now. Cameron is such a colorful person and wants their wedding to have LOTS of color… so I thought the many colorful graffiti backdrops were absolutely perfect for their session.
I love how opposite Cameron & JD will admit that they are, but they click so perfectly. I love how JD makes Cameron laugh, and I can tell these two will be laughing for the rest of their years together. I also loved meeting their sweet Boston Terrier, ZuZu, who is a shy pup but absolutely ADORES her mom & dad. Just as I was about to leave and was already thinking “wow, I love this couple,” Cameron gifted me with her homemade pound cake. :) I seriously cannot WAIT for next July.
