Gina & Edward found my photography via Love Gives Way and are leveraging their wedding day to give back to those in need. They have both participated in mission trips and volunteered abroad, and they have huge hearts for serving others. It was on Gina’s trip to Thailand/Indonesia that Blake Mycoskie, the founder of TOMS, sat right next to Gina on a plane ride! Gina already knew who Blake was and even had his book with her on the flight. During their engagement session, Gina & Edward chose to wear TOMS shoes and clothing from FEED to show their support for these organizations that provide shoes, food, and more to those in need. Gina & Edward have also compiled a team of vendors for their wedding day that make a difference in some way or another (such as my partnership with Out of Darkness). Their wedding is sure to be an amazing day of celebrating with family and friends, but also an effort to channel money from the estimated 40 billion dollar wedding industry to those less fortunate around the world. I want to give a big shout out to carolyn a. events for putting this styled engagement session together, and to The Barn at Tatum Acres for being such a breathtaking venue. All of the colorful Fall leaves held out for this engagement session, and even though it was a gloomy and misty day, we captured some amazing images.
