I was so flattered when Mary-Morgan of In a Flash Photography contacted me about capturing her own engagement and wedding photos! After all, her work is AMAZING, so it was quite the compliment! And I loved how instantly we “clicked” when meeting at my studio. We talked extensively about her wedding plans at the very first meeting, and I guess I shouldn’t have been surprised that a fellow photographer had already taken into account so many factors that influence wedding day photos! All of my “tips & tricks” that I tell brides when putting together their timelines had already been accounted for, and it was evident that Mary-Morgan feels the same way I do: that your photos are what last. In a way, it’s a little nerve-wracking photographing a fellow photographer, but at the same time, photographers make the BEST clients. :)
Getting to then meet her fiancé Hoytes during their engagement session in downtown Athens and witness the two of them together was such a joy! They actually began dating in high school and have now been together for 8 years! They’re tying the knot this October at The Thompson House & Gardens, and I already know it’s going to be a dreamy day! Thanks, Mary-Morgan & Hoytes, for trusting me to capture this special time in your lives!!
