Matt & Kalia met at a mutual friend’s move out party right after graduation at UGA. Kalia was working at Silverthorn Farm at the time, took her senior photos on the property, and even moved to live on the farm after she graduated. Therefore, the beautiful rolling hills and horse pastures became the place Matt would visit Kalia while they were in the early stages of dating. Needless to say, it’s quite a special place for them, and was a natural choice for Matt when deciding where to pop the question. My job was to hide behind a tractor and secretly capture the moment, and I loved every second. We then took photos around the property, Kalia busted out her film camera to capture her own memories, and then they headed to downtown Athens where their families awaited to celebrate. Congrats, Kalia & Matt!
