Monica & Jose are one of my 2021 wedding couples, and I am over the moon that I get to capture this special time in their lives. I have photographed many milestones for Monica’s family over the years (including her older sister’s wedding), so this family is already very dear to me. Getting to meet Jose during this session and see how perfectly he fits Monica… it just makes my heart soar.
Monica & Jose are set to marry on December 18th, 2021, so they took their pre-anniversary off of work and we did their engagement session on December 18th, 2020 — what a fun way to begin celebrating your anniversary! We started at their home with their sweet pups, who are such hams in front of the camera I can’t even handle it. And then we went to Smyrna Market Village, which is a frequent date spot for Monica & Jose. I loved the Christmas tree & lights & all the holiday cheer at this session.
