I loved this engagement session for so many reasons. One reason is that I got to meet Morgan of Morgan Mechling Photography! I love meeting and connecting with other creatives, although I must admit: photographing another photographer made me a bit nervous! I shared with Morgan my nerves/excitement about photographing her, and she shared her nerves/excitement about being in front of the camera for a change… Turns out we both had a ton of fun! Charlie is too cute, and I love how Morgan customized the shoot to incorporate their interests. When I first laid eyes on her ADORABLY gorgeous bicycle, I think I squealed. And then I had my first experience photographing “fly fishing”… and also getting hit in the face with it. :) You’d never know by looking at the photos that it was a million degrees outside – Morgan & Charlie were great sports and kept being cute despite the heat. I hope you love the photos as much as I do!
