I can’t describe how much joy it brought me to capture Layla’s senior photos not once but TWICE. We did a session in the fall, which produced some of my favorite images ever, and then we did a cap & gown + announcement session in the Spring once Layla knew where she would be going to college. Spoiler alert: she’s going to UGA! And she got into the university’s dance program, which is highly competitive and a tremendous accomplishment… and also puts her one step closer to her dream of one day running her own ballet company.
I loved our time together taking these grad photos at East Jackson High School. It was one of the windiest days I’ve ever experienced (truly felt like we were in a tornado), but I told Layla it just added to the wind-blown model look. And truly it’s impossible to take a bad photo of her because she’s cute as a button.
