Elan contacted me about a professional portrait session because it was something she had never done before, and she wanted to try something new. I asked her if there was any sort of milestone she was celebrating, and she said “Nope! Just wanted to do this for myself.” … And I LOVE that. We met up with zero expectations other than to have fun and get creative and play around. She trusted me when I asked if we could go to the top of a parking deck (one of my favorite places to shoot because of the lighting), and she even trusted me when I put her in some bushes. :) I loved her from the moment she arrived to the session with Reese’s Cups to surprise me with, and her vibrant personality truly shined throughout our entire time together.
