Mary is a dear friend of mine in Athens, and when she asked if I’d take photos of her and her pup Samson, I was SO EXCITED. Samson is such a special dog, and he loves Mary more than anything in the world. She rescued him from the Madison Oglethorpe Animal Shelter and has given him a very spoiled life (which he 150% deserves!). They go for long hikes, do Agility together, and get lots of snuggles in. Samson is one of the most obedient and well-trained dogs I’ve met, always willing to show off his manners & tricks. It’s no surprise to me that Ladybug also ADORES him. My favorite thing about photographing them was doing it in a more “lifestyle” manner where I got to enter their home and experience their normal everyday interactions. I hope these photos and all of Samson’s many expressive faces make you smile. :)
