Alecia & Cade met on Match.com in 2012. Cade was currently living in Augusta and Alecia in Athens. They talked for about a week before Cade made the trip to Athens to take Alecia out. She had mentioned loving when guys take charge and plan things out, and that’s exactly what Cade did. Through their conversations, he gathered all of the things Alecia liked to do and used those things to plan the “best first date” Alecia had ever been on. They went to a brewery, dinner, a concert, and then laid in the back of his truck and stargazed. Since then, they’ve built their “dream house” on Cade’s family’s property, and now they’re hitched!
Their wedding day at The Thompson House and Gardens was absolutely breathtaking. Although it was February, the weather was warm and sunny, and the blooming flowers made it look like springtime. They had the cutest flower girl & ring bearer in their wedding party (both hams in front of the camera, too). Alecia wore white cowboy boots that Cade actually gifted her years ago in hopes that she’d one day walk down the aisle in them. Everything went smoothly, and I can’t imagine a more fun day for this couple and their families.
