Amanda & Ross both graduated from the University of Georgia and then both went on to Georgia State University for advanced degrees.  However, they didn’t actually meet at either school, even though their lives were pretty intertwined — Amanda even crashed Ross’s family’s famous tailgate one Saturday!  They ultimately met via a dating website just before graduating from Georgia State.  Their first date was at Waffle House, and Amanda showed up in scrubs and a hoodie after working three 12-hour night shifts in a row.  They talked for hours, which turned into future dates, meeting family, embarking on adventures together, and falling in love.  After almost a year and a half of dating, Ross & Amanda went to South City Kitchen for brunch (their favorite!), where they had had one of their first dates.  After their meal, they walked around Midtown and passed Peachtree Christian Church, where Amanda’s parents and grandparents got married.  This is where Ross used Amanda’s grandmother’s ring to ask her to marry him.

They tied the knot at the Wheeler House in Ball Ground, Georgia on what was a perfect-weather-day.  I loved absolutely everything about their wedding, and my 2-hour drive home at the end of the night was just reliving every amazing moment in my head.  The amount of LOVE displayed at their wedding was incredible, from their wedding party to the family & friends that celebrated with them.

Amanda & Ross also had a KILLER team of vendors working together to pull off their big day.  I am still swooning over the florals by Holland Daze, and their reception was one of the BEST parties I’ve ever witnessed thanks to D Street Entertainment (and the fact that Amanda & Ross CAN DANCE!).  I’m so thankful to have been entrusted with capturing this special occasion, and I am SO HAPPY for this amazing couple!
