Anu & Brett did something NO other couple of mine has done… they took their wedding photos PRIOR to their wedding day. And honestly, it’s brilliant. We took these about a month prior to the wedding. It allowed us to move around and explore the NUMEROUS stunning backdrops at their venue — the Georgian Terrace Hotel in downtown Atlanta — without the time constraints of a wedding day timeline. It allowed Anu to wear her dress more than once (who only wants to wear such a special gown one time?!). It acted as a “trial run” of sorts so that we could make sure the hair, makeup, veil, dress, etc. were all picture-perfect for the wedding day. It gave them photos to print and display at the reception. I could go on and on about the benefits of this, but mostly it took a LOT of stress off of the wedding day itself by already knowing that we have stunning photos.
My absolute favorite moment was their First Look. The pure JOY and excitement is so tangible in these images. They officially tied the knot yesterday, and I cannot WAIT to share their wedding day photos with you! For now, enjoy these pre-wedding portraits.
