Caroline & Harry met in pharmacy school at the University of Georgia. However, they waited until they were 522 miles apart to actually start dating while completing their residences. After a couple years of long distance, they wrapped up their residencies and were able to secure jobs at the same health system. After six months of finally living in the same city, Harry proposed, and they’ve been building a life together in Columbus, Ohio ever since.
For their wedding, Caroline & Harry came back to the Classic City (Athens, GA!) where they first met. They put together a dream team of vendors, which was so helpful given that all their planning was long distance! It was a truly beautiful day full of emotion at The Farm at High Shoals, and I feel so blessed to have captured it. Caroline & I actually go back all the way to elementary school, and it was so cool seeing her as a bride (hint hint: she was absolutely radiant). I also enjoyed seeing other familiar faces this wedding — talk about a blast from the past!

Before putting on her dress, Caroline took a quiet moment to read a letter from Harry and open his present to her. I love when couples press pause during their wedding days and really take it all in.
