Emily & Justin met in high school, but according to Emily, it wasn’t until they ended up on the same mission trip to the Dominican Republic that Justin really caught her eye. His heart for Jesus and his ability to make her laugh like no one else are just two of the reasons Emily found herself falling for Justin. Even though she tried to stay away from him to concentrate on her trip, Justin intentionally pursued her, and by the end of the trip they were inseparable. Their official first date was the day after they got back from their trip in June of 2012, and the rest is history.
Emily & Justin had a beautiful winter wedding at the Wheeler House in Ball Ground, Georgia. It was a rainy & wet day, but the rain held off long enough for some outdoor portraits… and fortunately Emily was willing to go outside and lay her dress’s STUNNING train on the wet ground for photos. I’d say it was worth it. :) Their First Look was adorable and allowed them to spend quality time together laughing, holding hands, and cozying up under a mistletoe. Justin’s dad officiated their sweet ceremony inside the barn, and people warmed up next to a fire pit and enjoyed s’mores during the cocktail hour. There was so much I LOVED about this wedding, and it just shows that even a cold, rainy winter wedding can be absolutely perfect.
