Emily & Shawn met during their junior year of high school. They took many of the same classes, got to know each other, and eventually began dating. Over the years since, they’ve grown together through a number of life changes: going to college, studying abroad away from one another, starting their careers / graduate school, and moving to different cities. They tied the knot on October 10th at the Overlook of West Georgia in Tallapoosa. There was a pretty scary weather forecast for the day, and we watched as dark storm clouds approached. However, it ended up being absolutely perfect weather at the venue, almost like we were in a protected little bubble. Just like their engagement session, Emily & Shawn were such a blast to photograph on their wedding day. I love the way they laugh with each other and look at each other even when the camera isn’t facing them. They are thrilled that they chose to do a First Look, and I got to witness Shawn tear up at the sight of his lovely bride TWICE: both during their private moment together and later when Emily walked down the aisle. I couldn’t have dreamed of a more perfect day for this sweet couple.
