Sarah & Nate’s wedding day was a fairytale. Although very hot, we were blessed with gorgeous sunlight perfect for an evening outdoor ceremony. I fell in love with each of the venues which were all within walking distance of each other. We started at the James Madison Inn where the bridal party got ready. We then walked over to the Round Bowl Springs Garden for the ceremony and ultimately The Variety Works for an elegant and rustic reception.
Sarah & Nate share a love that is so outwardly visible and touching to witness. They chose to do a First Look, which allowed for hours of fun portraits… and half the photos are of Sarah’s laughter and gigantic smile that came every time she looked at Nate. The best part of working with this sweet couple has been their trust in me and my work. From the engagement session to the wedding, they gave me little direction and kept reminding me, “We trust you.” That speaks volumes to a photographer and often results in the most creative photos. When I suggested they step out of their reception for 10-15 minutes of photos during the golden hour, they gladly agreed, and as usual, those are some of my favorite photos from the day.
