Gosh, where do I even start with Erin & Robby? These two bring me such joy, but not as much as they bring each other. They met on Georgia Tech’s campus while Robby was working on his Ph.D. in mechanical engineering and Erin was working as a private tutor for the athletic department. I traveled to Atlanta for their engagement session on Tech’s campus, and we couldn’t have chosen a more perfect weekend! The fall colors were at their peak, the weather was perfect, and the date — November 5th — was significant to Erin, for it was the day that she walked for the first time on two feet at the age of 5. Erin has cerebral palsy, and Robby has been a shoulder to lean on since they met, both literally and figuratively. The way he keeps Erin laughing with his silly jokes and the way she loves on him is just too precious. I can only hope that one day I find someone who brings as much light to my life as Erin & Robby do for each other.
I cannot wait to photograph their wedding in December of 2018! Erin is actually one of the first people to support my photography career — she found me on Facebook over 6 years ago and has kept up with my work ever since! Her encouraging comments on my photos always make my day! I got to meet her in person in October 2016 when I photographed her twin sister’s wedding. Needless to say, I’ve been waiting for the day that Erin would become a bride of mine for quite some time! :)
