Liz and Kyle’s wedding day was absolutely incredible! What was a chilly and rainy day in Athens ended up being a perfect day for a wedding in Augusta! We had wonderful weather, and there were still some colorful Fall leaves in the trees. They got married at Saint Paul’s Church in Augusta, which is a stunning venue with a beautiful inside and outside.
Liz and Kyle are two former UGA Redcoats, and there was quite the turnout of Redcoats at this wedding… and a LOT of dancing. I had actually warned Liz that based on my prior experiences, I thought her reception would be too long and people would leave early and miss her sparkler exit. Boy was I wrong! The dancing continued till the end of the night, and there had to be a line of over 50 people sending the couple off under the stars on the Riverwalk.
I want to say a big thank you to my second shooter for this wedding: Tara Wilburn of Breath of Light Imagery. She helped me rock this wedding, which ended up being over a 12 hour day including travel to and from Augusta. And I love the images we captured!
