Beth & Tyler met in 2005 through mutual friends while both attending Clemson University. Beth had an extra ticket to a concert and needed a date, and Tyler needed a date to an upcoming fraternity semi-formal. They filled in as each other’s date to these two events, and the rest is history!
Beth & I hit it off from our very first phone call. Working out the timeline details for the wedding day, recommending vendors, and just chatting over the phone during the planning process was such a blast. And on the wedding day, Beth & Tyler’s family and friends were so welcoming and inclusive to my team that we felt more like wedding guests than the hired photographers. Needless to say, I was thrilled to hear that Beth, Tyler, & both sets of parents were willing to drive to Athens for their in-person Reveal — Seeing them again and reliving that incredible day together made my heart so happy!
Their wedding day had a terrible weather forecast and was during a stretch when it seemed to be storming every single day, but they were surprised and blessed with sunny skies all afternoon and evening! They got married at the Linger Longer Pavilion at Reynolds Lake Oconee. Things I loved include their huge wedding party that not once complained about the heat, when Beth & Tyler shared gifts/letters during the First Look, how boats on the lake continued to photobomb their pictures, the epic DONUT WALL at the reception (but really, can every wedding have a donut wall?!), when Beth’s mom & dad recited “My Wish” by Rascal Flatts during their toast, and when the couple sailed away by boat at the end of the night.
Thank you, Beth & Tyler, for putting so much trust into my services and allowing me to celebrate with you during this special time. And CONGRATULATIONS!
