I absolutely adore repeat clients… it’s such an honor and joy to walk alongside them during different life milestones, getting to watch them grow and evolve over time. This was K’s third boudoir session with me, and this time it was maternity! I could see the increased confidence from her first to second session with me, and when she showed up this time, she was absolutely glowing. She’s come to really adore and appreciate her body and all it does for her, and that’s a beautiful thing.
Once again she drove to Athens so that we could do this session at my studio. We began with professional hair & makeup as always, because I want my clients to feel pampered and confident and never have to worry about getting ready themselves. We then captured some casual portraits before transitioning into fine art nudes that will forever display her body during this special time (some shots won’t be shared here!).
After we finished up at the studio, we went on-location to a nearby field to capture more traditional maternity photos with her husband. The sun was out, and the golden hour glow at sunset was absolutely magical. Unfortunately there were some briers hiding in the field, and K joked about getting “bloody ankles”… but she said it was totally worth it for the photos.
Finally, we had her Reveal where she got to choose her favorites images to forever cherish in an Heirloom Album, and we designed some printed artwork for the walls of her home.
I really strive to provide a full-service experience from start to finish. My goal is to hold your hand, walk you through an effortless process, and provide you with images that will only become more cherished over time.
For maternity, I recommend having your session between 31-33 weeks pregnant. And it’s never too soon to get on my calendar, as I tend to book a couple months in advance.
I am SO excited for K and her husband. They are waiting to find out the sex, but I just know baby girl OR boy is going to be so immensely loved.
