“In sculpture, male nudes dominated until the 4th century B.C., when figures of Aphrodite broke the mold and introduced female nudity into monumental art. Before then, ancient Greek society kept female nudity limited, except when they were shown in captivity, submission, or at a small scale.” — Getty Villa
The emergence of female nudes in art marked a pivotal moment in history, finally showcasing and celebrating women for their grace, strength, and beauty rather than painting them merely as objects of desire.
I absolutely love capturing the power and elegance inherent in every curve and contour of the feminine form. My goal is to show women that they are inherently a work of art and an absolute masterpiece. By using light and dark, shadows and highlights, I’m able to create timeless and classic pieces that my clients often display on their walls.
