Amanda & Kenneth met while dancing. They’re INCREDIBLY TALENTED. They were both members of the UGA Ballroom Performance Group, and I have admired their dancing from years of watching them in performances… and I’ve even had the pleasure of dancing with Kenneth at some social dances (of course I’m no where near their level of skill!). Because they’re one of the cutest couples I’ve ever seen, I’ve always hoped that one day I’d get to photograph them. As fate would have it, the stars aligned and we got together during their recent trip back to Athens. I was actually experimenting with a brand new camera system, so during parts of the shoot I literally said “just dance” while I tried figuring out how to focus the camera. It definitely wasn’t my usual session, but I’m thrilled that some of the images turned out so well. I guess I shouldn’t be surprised since I had such incredible subjects… Thanks, Amanda & Kenneth, for letting me play around with y’all!
