I can’t believe it’s now 2020 — an entirely new decade! Last night I rang in the New Year in true 20’s flapper style, and it was a blast!
I am excited to share my annual “RINGing in the year” blog post… full of the prettiest bling from my 2019 couples!!
By now, I’ve become somewhat known for my ring shots. Brides tell me all the time that they can’t wait to see what I do with their ring… because it’s no secret that I steal it during every engagement session just to stage it with whatever I can find around. I also start all my wedding days with 30 minutes dedicated to “detail shots,” which is when I photograph the rings and other important details and really get my creative juices flowing for the day.
I’ve never really been that person to bring “props” to stage rings with… I enjoy the challenge of finding things that are beautiful wherever I am. I also enjoy the authenticity that comes from having to use what’s around. Many of my “backgrounds” for ring shots on wedding days are items that have significance to the bride and groom… either an invitation or the shoes the bride would wear that day or the bricks on the sidewalk of the venue they chose.
Anyway, I could go on and on about how much I love ring shots, but I will just let you scroll through the photos and enjoy some of the gorgeous bling I got to photograph this year. It has been an amazing year of so many diverse couples, all of which have truly blessed me & my business, and I am so so grateful for the connections this career brings me.
