I couldn’t stop smiling while editing Heather and Alex’s engagement session, not only because of how cute they are together… but because I was constantly blown away by how effortlessly they pulled off every idea I suggested. You see, Heather and Alex are not your ordinary couple. Alex is a UGA cheerleader and Heather is a UGA Dance Dawg and Georgette. So, needless to say, they are both very strong and capable of doing a lot of shots I’ve never captured before.
We did part of the shoot on North Campus and in downtown Athens. We took a few shots in front of the UGA Library, where Heather and Alex enjoyed many of their first dates (study dates!). Afterward we went to a field where we could spread out and let loose. This is where I asked them if they thought they could pull off reenacting a scene from one of my favorite movies: Dirty Dancing. As with every other shot I suggested, they confidently made it happen – a photographer’s dream come true! :) Heather and Alex were so sweet, super adorable, and too much fun, and I feel very blessed to have worked with them.
