I am not lying when I say that Jackie & Taylor’s engagement session is one of my favorite sessions I’ve ever photographed. They chose November 5th because it was the 3 year anniversary of when they went on their first date… and they chose WELL because we were blessed with spectacular weather & peak fall colors. We ultimately chose Lake Lanier Islands as our location because spending time on the lake is one of their pastimes.
I am so honored to work with couples who trust me & my vision as much as Jackie & Taylor do. They were willing to drive around together in one car and just explore… stopping whenever we saw something pretty and going along with all my crazy ideas. They also brought their adorable year-old pup, Dapper, with them for some snuggles (if clients ever ask me if they should include their dog in photos, my answer is always “yes”!).
After the session, they surprised me with the sweetest and most thoughtful gift … some squeaky balls for Ladybug (her favorite!), which were perfectly timed since she had surgery scheduled for later in the week. To say that Ladybug’s obsessed with her new toys is an understatement, and they’ve definitely made the healing process more enjoyable.
