Karlene & Brad have no affiliation with Athens or the University of Georgia, nor do they have any mutual friends with me. But through a chain of referrals, they found my services, and I am SO glad they did! We met up to take their engagement photos while they were in Georgia, and after spending an evening with them, I can confidently say that they’re way too cool for me. :) Karlene is an interior designer & yoga instructor, and Brad is an engineer. They met while attending UCF and have now been together for over 4 years. Their relationship is full of traveling, music, & exploration, and their love for each other is overflowing. I was ecstatic when they chose the Goat Farm Arts Center in Atlanta as their engagement location, because I’ve always wanted to shoot there! Turns out, it was the perfect backdrop to capture their free spirits, and I loved casually exploring the property together while capturing their precious interactions. And the sun even surprised us and came out at the very end of the shoot! :) Karlene & Brad are getting married at Sugarboo Farms in the North Georgia Mountains this August, and I can’t wait to capture their big day!
I joked that we should do a “super hipster / model-esque photo,” and this was the next photo taken :)…
And then Karlene spotted these prayer flags and requested a silly meditation photo. :)
