When Kristy reached out to me about engagement photos, she told me that while SHE is very used to being in front of the camera (she used to be a professional backup dancer!!), her fiancé Chris is not. So I went into the engagement session thinking Chris would need more direction…. and was WAY WRONG. Let me tell you, these two are as natural as it gets. The way Chris looks at Kristy is enough to make you melt, and together they were all smiles & giggles throughout the session. I don’t know Chris personally, but he sure seems like a romantic to me, because he knew how to sweep Kristy off her feet, dip her, & treat her like an absolute princess.
We were fortunate to use the stunning Farm at High Shoals as a backdrop for these photos, and it was perfect. We started at the stone villa in more formal attire and then made our way toward the lake for more casual portraits. I swear these two look like models, and I LOVE how these images turned out… mostly because their joy radiates through the screen. CONGRATULATIONS, Chris & Kristy, on your engagement, and I am so so thrilled that y’all found each other.
