I adore Nicole & Cameron — I photographed their engagement and wedding years ago, and they’re just the sweetest. But even though I already knew I loved them, I had honestly forgotten JUST how amazing they are until I got to reconnect with them a couple weeks ago down in the Saint Simons area. It felt like catching up with good friends and just having a blast together. We weren’t planning on taking photos during my trip to the area, but as soon as I stepped foot on Jekyll Island’s Driftwood Beach, I knew I HAD to do a session there. It’s just too dreamy and unlike any location I’ve ever photographed before. So naturally I asked if they’d be up for some pictures, and this way I got to meet & photograph the new addition to their family since I last saw them… their pup, Petey! He is SUCH a good boy. We really lucked out with the most beautiful weather day (mid-sixties in February!), and I loved every minute of our time together… including when they treated me to an amazing seafood restaurant afterwards and I tried oysters for the first time!
