Yay for my second annual “behind the scenes” post! Last year’s post got such a good reaction that I’ve decided to do it again! These photos are taken by my second shooter or assistant, and I love them because I literally NEVER know they’re being taken; They’re always quick & candid moments that showcase what it’s like “in the moment” on a wedding day or at an engagement session. As always, I can’t thank my sweet couples enough for trusting me to join them during some of the most special times in their lives! And I hope you enjoy getting a behind the scenes peek into what I do! And stay tuned, because there is a post coming soon highlighting the behind the scenes of my entire team!

I love that in the below photo you can see how my second shooter & I are getting different vantage points (she’s in the balcony!)…
And what you see in the end photo isn’t always what it looks like in real life…
I LOVE that my second shooter sometimes captures the moments when I show my couples a “preview” of their photos on the back of my camera. Always such a joyful moment!
And of course I love jumping in a shot with my brides & grooms!
The best is when you run into PAST brides & grooms at weddings and they all want a photo with you!
