Sarah needed professional headshots for a new job, and she said she wanted them to be “artsy / creative” based on her new position… rather than the traditional headshots you tend to think of. I was JAZZED about that request, and I took her to one of my favorite locations that has a lot of color and textures and variety. When I saw the outfits she brought, I knew I had chosen the right spot. I LOVE how these turned out, and I think everyone should have updated headshots/portraits that feel like “them.” Especially if you’re a business trying to showcase your brand on social media. Sarah’s session was only 30 minutes, so this also shows how much variety we can get in a short amount of time. If you’re on the fence about whether or not you need updated photos, trust me — you do. :) And I recommend not waiting till you’re told by an employer or website designer or job application that you need to submit a photo.
