Erin & Michael

September 26, 2014

Sometimes simplicity is the most gorgeous thing. Erin and Michael chose Erin’s old family property for their wedding venue. Tucked in a tiny community called Camp Creek outside of Greeneville, TN, the property doesn’t even have a street address… Just some amazing fields, a couple horses, some rustic old buildings, and an outhouse. :)

On the morning of the wedding, Erin’s bridesmaids walked down the street and picked wildflowers for Erin’s bouquet. After the sweetest little ceremony, Michael swept Erin off her feet and carried her back down the aisle. Minutes after the ceremony ended, we saw our first raindrops (which is a miracle considering the 80% chance of thunderstorms I had seen on the forecast!). But a few drops didn’t keep them from partying! One of my favorite things about this couple… is that they dance. Erin and Michael took swing dancing classes together as they were dating, and it is literally the cutest thing ever to witness.  They danced not only during their first dance, but randomly here and there during couples’ portraits. With such an amazing location and an adorable couple, I had an extremely difficult time narrowing down my favorite shots from the day… enjoy!

To Erin,
I am so grateful that I decided to go to my very first concert at the Georgia Theater (and I still haven’t been back yet) the night that I met you. Even with busy schedules and distance between us, I cherish our friendship. Being a part of this special time for you and Michael has brought me great joy that I cannot put into words.
