Hilary & Michael met through a small group at their church and soon realized they had a ton in common. Every week after small group, they’d talk for hours in the parking lot getting to know each other. They soon started sitting together at church, and after about a month, they went on their first official date!
Their wedding at Indigo Falls Events in Dallas, Georgia was such a beautiful display of God’s love, and I can’t think back on the day without smiling. Despite the terrible weather forecast for the day, the rain held off and we had ample time for beautiful outdoor portraits on the property. It actually only began pouring right before their “exit” at the end of the night, forcing us to switch our plans and do an indoor exit with cell phone lights — This was the coordinator’s idea, and I LOVE how it turned out! Every wedding I photograph at this venue is such a joy. The in-house coordination and incredible grounds make for such a dreamy day.
My favorite thing about Hilary & Michael’s wedding day is that it was overflowing with emotion. From their sweet moment praying together before the ceremony to the heartfelt toasts at the reception, there were many tears. Once Hilary & Michael were together, they were inseparable. They spent their entire reception side-by-side greeting guests, eating, and dancing (and this is rarer than you’d think!). Their adoration for each other is incredible to witness, and I wish them all the happiness as they embark on this next journey as husband and wife.

This next photo is great example of how adorable these two are. I had already left them and gone to the reception when I looked back and saw this sweet moment happening far in the distance. Fortunately I had my zoom lens on!
