Kelsey & Jonathan reached out to me about photographing their intimate wedding ceremony at the Botanical Gardens, and I was immediately hooked. I love when couples make nontraditional decisions that are true to them, and that’s exactly what they did. Together we chose a weekday morning when we knew the gardens would be empty. We began by eating donuts (reason #274,309 why I love this couple), and then Kelsey & Jonathan shared intimate vows with each other only in front of the officiant and me. It was so sweet and they both beamed the entire time. We then enjoyed exploring the vast gardens and somehow timed it perfectly with when the tulips were in full bloom. I love how easy and chill and personal the entire morning was, and then Kelsey & Jonathan went out to brunch to celebrate… and a GINORMOUS thunderstorm hit Athens just a couple hours later. I am so happy for this couple and grateful that I got to be a part of this special milestone. Honestly if they weren’t moving out of Georgia within the month, I feel like we’d become really good friends. Congrats, Kelsey & Jonathan!
