I met Lauren years ago when she came over once to visit my roommate. She has followed my work ever since that day and been one of my biggest supporters and encouragers. She always joked that I’d photograph her wedding one day, and it’s still surreal that I actually did! And that she’s married! And that she found the sweetest man who is her perfect match. I seriously could not be happier for her. And obviously Teddy is lucky too, because Lauren’s about the kindest and most thoughtful person I’ve ever met.
Lauren & Teddy have consulted me for advice from day one of wedding planning, and it’s been such an honor guiding them through this process (have I mentioned I can talk about weddings all day every day?!). They chose one of my bucket-list venues, used a ton of my preferred vendors, and followed every little planning tip I share with my couples. Their day was INCREDIBLE, and I absolutely adore their photos. It was my first time shooting at Fernbank Museum of Natural History, and it did NOT disappoint. The vast majority of the time, I prefer shooting portraits outdoors. However, I couldn’t get enough of Fernbank’s clean white walls and natural light, and I ended up keeping Lauren & Teddy inside most of the day. They ended the night with a reception where they danced amongst the dinosaurs, and it was pretty epic.
Thank you, Lauren & Teddy, for putting so much trust in me throughout this process and for allowing me to capture this joyous occasion.
