Melissa & David met in 2013 at a local gym in Statesboro, GA. David worked at the gym, and Melissa was prepping for her first bodybuilding show. Before they even met, Melissa decided that David was cute and started playing small pranks on him and writing him notes from a “secret admirer.” After about two weeks of these shenanigans, a mutual friend at the gym officially introduced the two. They hit it off right from the start, and have been “swolemates” ever since, as Melissa says. :) I couldn’t believe how perfect their wedding hashtag was… Melissa’s last name is Stack and David’s is Maxwell, so their hashtag was #StackToTheMax — how perfect is that for two swolemates?!
Their wedding was at one of my favorite venues: The Wheeler House in Ball Ground, Georgia. It had stormed really hard the night before (even causing a power outage at the venue!), but despite the rough forecast, it didn’t rain a single drop on their big day. I have loved every second of working with this couple… they take “chill” to a whole new level. Their day was relaxed and beautiful and joyful, and I am so thrilled for them as they start the next chapter of their lives in Texas. Thank you, Melissa & David, for trusting me to capture this special milestone in your lives, and congratulations!!
