I love that my clients become dear friends. I’ve known and adored Corey since high school, but I only met Olivia when she contacted me about wedding photography. Ever since, this girl has blown me away with her kindness and trust in my artistic vision. I’ve found that we have a ton in common, and she even thought to include me in one of her bridesmaids gifts: cute cups with our names / initials on them. It was such an honor to photograph their wedding at First Presbyterian Church of Gainesville, which is Olivia’s home church and also where her parents got married. Their wedding was customized to their interests, with touches of books, games, and Disney in their details and reception decor. They danced to Disney songs and had a Mickey Mouse groom’s cake (aside a gorgeous naked cake topped with strawberries!). We revisited the church library where we photographed during their engagement session and played around with books and scrabble pieces. And then Olivia’s dad graciously drove the entire bridal party around the property on a church shuttle bus for different photo backdrops. My favorite moments of the day were when Olivia’s dad walked her down the aisle during her First Look with Corey and when the adorable flower girl took at least 5 minutes to get down the aisle because she had to carefully place every. single. petal. :) Due to church restrictions/rules regarding photography, all ceremony photos were taken through a window… but even being outside of the ceremony, I could still feel the love and joy flooding the room.
