Peyton & Bradley met in optometry school at Southern College of Optometry in Memphis, Tennessee. Peyton knew Bradley as the “California surfer dude,” and Bradley knew Peyton as the “girl from Georgia who only wears oversized sweatshirts.” It wasn’t until their second year that their paths really started to cross, thanks to their mutual love of video games and “Clash of Clans.” After a golf cart ride, learning how to skateboard, and some friendly competition playing Mario Kart, Bradley and Peyton became quick friends. They started studying together, attending church together, and going on more golf cart sunset rides by the Mississippi River. Although they came from different backgrounds, grew up across the country from each other, and may not have seemed to have much in common, they meshed quickly and have been inseparable ever since.
Peyton & Bradley got married at Ivy Hall in Roswell, Georgia and did all their planning long-distance since they’re currently living in California. For their Reveal of their wedding photos, Peyton’s local family came into the studio and we “Skyped” Peyton & Bradley in on a laptop. It wasn’t the same as being able to hug them, but I’m thrilled that they were still able to get the Reveal experience!
Their wedding day was hot and sweaty but sunny and gorgeous. I enjoyed witnessing the Jewish aspects of their day, including the chuppah at their ceremony, their Ketubah signing, and the hora dance at the reception. Bradley’s guys will go down as one of the most hilarious group of groomsmen I’ve captured. I loved Peyton’s tulle skirt on her wedding dress, and I loved the pink Cadillac Convertible that they drove off in at the end of the night. This was one HOPPING reception, and they prepared by providing everyone a set of flip flops to change into so they could get their dance on.
All in all, it was a spectacular day, and I feel very honored to have captured it. Congratulations, Peyton & Bradley!!!
