Sahara & James are two of the kindest people I’ve ever met… and they’re stinkin’ ADORABLE too — check out their engagement session for a sneak peek of how cute they are together.
They met while both working at Macy’s, thanks to a little help from James’s sister, who also happens to be Sahara’s sorority sister from college. They had to keep their relationship a secret for a while, because employees were not allowed to date in their fields, but ultimately James transferred jobs for her [anyone else let out an “awwww”? Just me?].
Sahara & James tied the knot on LEAP DAY this year (how cool is that?!)… and just about a week before everything shut down due to COVID-19. Even though they’ve had to postpone their honeymoon plans, they’re grateful that they were able to have the large wedding that they dreamed of at The Carl House in Auburn, GA… with 10 bridesmaids and 10 groomsmen! The timing really was perfect. And thanks to modern technology, they were able to include James’s mom via FaceTime even though she wasn’t able to be there in person.
Sahara’s stunning dress, her Princess Jasmine engagement ring, the calla lily bouquets, the golden hour light, the way James looked at his bride all day, the tear-jerker toasts, the way they brought down the house with their Arab dances at the reception, the contagious laughter & joy… All in all, it really was a magical day.
