Alecia & Cade chose to do their engagement session on their own property, and it was perfect!! They just finished building a house on acres and acres of land tucked away in the woods, and it’s gorgeous! We took photos with the front of the house, the lake it sits on, and in nearby rolling fields of hay bales. The fall colors were at their peak (November is my favorite month to shoot!), and we couldn’t have asked for prettier weather. Riding around in a golf cart, petting their dogs, and exploring a new location made this session such a blast. Not to mention Alecia & Cade were SO easygoing and up for all of my ideas. I can’t wait to photograph them again in February at the Thompson House and Gardens when they tie the knot!
