Kody & Behren both grew up in the small town of Lincolnton, Georgia. When I asked when they started dating, their response was “basically the 8th grade.” Even though Behren’s currently living in Athens while attending pharmacy school, they wanted their engagement photos to be taken back home in Lincolnton where they first fell in love. And I’m SO glad they chose that location, because it was STUNNING. We started the shoot on Behren’s family’s property, which has a cute red barn, muscadine vines, yellow wildflowers, and so many other picture-perfect backdrops. We included her horses into the shoot as well since they are such a huge part of her life. We then drove to a nearby field of hay bales just in time to catch the sunset. I had so much fun casually exploring with Behren & Kody, and I absolutely LOVE the photos we captured. I hope you love them too!
