Cristen & Drew chose to take their engagement photos at Piedmont Park in Atlanta, where they often spend time together. We had been watching a pretty rough weather forecast for days, wondering if we should reschedule the session. I’m so glad that they were willing to wait it out, because it ended up being PERFECT. The forecast scared off other people, leaving us a pretty empty park (which is rare for Piedmont Park on a weekend!). And we had such epic cloudy skies as a backdrop. It did end up raining about 10 minutes after we finished, so the timing really was perfect.
The best way I can describe Cristen & Drew from our limited time together is that they are just FUN together. They’re constantly playing around and making each other laugh. And it’s infectious. I had the best time photographing them and am so happy that they found each other! Congrats, Cristen & Drew!
And my favorite from the session: when Drew demonstrated to Cristen how to properly “twirl.” :) I was dying.
