Morgan & Jason met while they were both Redcoats at the University of Georgia. They now live in Knoxville, TN and invited me up to do their engagement session at the beautiful Cade’s Cove. It was my first time in the area, and it was an absolute dream! I’ve always thought that my favorite place to photograph is an open field of wildflowers… but now I know it’s with mountains in the background! The shoot started out overcast and even a bit rainy, but before the end of the shoot, the sun had come out and lit up the grounds with a golden haze! We couldn’t have asked for a more beautiful session, and of course Jason & Morgan were a blast to photograph. I had classes with Morgan in college, and my favorite thing about her has always been her infectious laugh, which I heard plenty of during the session. :) I can’t wait for their wedding this October right across from my studio at the gorgeous Ashford Manor.
