When Tara & I started brainstorming ideas for her & Connor’s engagement session, I told her that I love when couples incorporate one of their hobbies into their session. She then mentioned that she & Connor love to cook and had just bought their first house together with an amazing kitchen. Needless to say, I JUMPED on the idea of taking their engagement photos at their new house! And when I arrived, I was in awe! It is the cutest house on the inside & outside. Since buying in May, they’ve repainted most of the walls to really light neutral colors (my fav!), and the natural light in the space was glorious. Their kitchen is TO DIE FOR, and they demonstrated how they make pizza from scratch… something Connor’s family does often. We then made the quick drive to the downtown Decatur area, which I really need to spend more time exploring! It had such cute walls & shops & restaurants. I’m already excited to photograph Tara & Connor again this coming February!!!
