Mia is a super upbeat, bubby sweetheart, and I am so glad I got to take her senior portraits! She is graduating from Athens Academy with the Class of 2021. She plays soccer, enjoys thrifting & flipping old clothes, and even made one of the shirts she wore during her session (the white one)! Her other outfits had sentimental value as well… Her yellow dress used to be her mom’s, and her skirt was a nod to the days when she wore a blue & white plaid skirt in her Catholic elementary school. Mia’s best friend, Addie, got to tag along and jump in some photos, and we actually ran into another best friend of hers while shooting in downtown Athens (whose senior photos I had taken earlier in the day — so crazy!). The session started at Mia’s house in Normaltown so that I could capture some photos with her family and dogs, then went to downtown Athens, and finished at Athens Academy, where Mia showed me all around the large & beautiful campus. I love how personalized the whole session was, and I think the photos will be a really special memory for Mia as she closes this chapter of her life and moves onto bigger things. CONGRATS, Mia!
