This session with Schafer Gray was the first time I’ve ever photographed a musician, and I must say – it really stretched my creativity! Before the session, I asked Schafer to send me some photos that he was inspired by. Well, let’s just say they were nothing like my normal style… but I loved them. I could tell that what he was looking for was going to be very different than what I normally do with my brides. So during this shoot, I really stepped outside of my “comfort zone” and experimented with different concepts and new styles of editing. And I absolutely love the images we created! I want to thank Schafer for trusting me and giving me free rein to experiment with new ideas. Hint: when you give photographers creative freedom, they often create even better images! This was also the very first session I had done in my indoor studio (some of the photos). The rest of the session was at Ashford Manor Bed & Breakfast in Watkinsville, a gorgeous event and wedding venue, and ultimately a field for some yummy sunset shots. Enjoy! And feel free to contact me if you’re an artist – I love working with other creatives!
Check out Schafer’s music here! He’s so talented! And keep up with more of my work on my Facebook page!
